Beyond student trips
When you drive with Via, you’re joining a platform trusted by communities around the world — built to make everyday mobility reliable and accessible.
To be eligible to operate on the Via Student Transit Platform, you must:
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Be 25 years of age or older
- Complete a drug screening
- Pass a background check
- Have more than 5 years of unrestricted U.S. driving history
- Have at least 5 years of experience as a parent or professional caregiver
- Have a personal auto insurance policy
- Pass a vehicle inspection
Requirements vary by service and partner. Any additional requirements for participating in this service will be communicated to prospective Driver Partners as necessary.
