What is Early Access?
Early Access is a program for selecting your preferred driving times — we’ve moved our driving time release day so that you could be eligible to sign up one day earlier!
How do I get early access?
Each week, we’ll look at your driving activity from the prior two weeks (Monday–Sunday). For example, eligibility for the week of February 2 will be based on your average overall Safety Score and Reservation Completion from January 19 – February 1.
To qualify, you must meet both of the requirements below:
1) Reservation Completion: 95%+
Your total online time must be at least 95% of the total reserved driving time you claimed.
2) Overall Safety Score (Your 2-Week Average): 95+
This is the same 2-week average overall Safety Score shown in your Safety Portal. Your Safety Score combines two key measures equally:
Speed Score: Tracks the percentage of your driving time spent over the speed limit (captured by Samsara dash cams).
Focus Score: Tracks distracted driving events per hour driven (captured by Samsara dash cams), such as phone use or looking away from the road for extended moments.
How can I remain eligible for Early Access?
You can remain eligible for early access even if your two-week average overall safety score is 95+ AND your total online time does not make up at least 95% of the driving times that you previously reserved, so long as:
- You cancelled your reserved driving time at least 24 hours prior to the start time.
- You were unable to drive on the Via Platform due to vehicle maintenance issues from a vehicle leasing partner.
Heads up, early access may not be issued in the event of system abuse or unauthorized behavior.
*Terms & Conditions: Eligibility for this program is limited to Driver Partners who (1) have an active and valid account on the Via Platform, (2) complete at least 95% of the total online time reserved in the prior two weeks, and (3) maintain an overall Safety Score of at least 95, as determined by Via. A Driver Partner may still remain eligible for this program if they fall below 95% completion so long as they canceled their reserved driving time at least 24 hours prior to the start time, or they were unable to drive on the Via Platform during their reserved time due to vehicle maintenance issues from a vehicle leasing partner. Via reserves the right to limit eligibility for any Driver Partner for any valid legal reason. This program is valid for a limited time only and may be revoked, suspended, or altered at any time at Via’s sole discretion, and these terms are subject to change at Via’s sole discretion.
