Via Driver Partner App: New Release Features

We’re rolling out a new version of the Via Driver Partner App with some exciting new features all designed to make your time on the road with Via Platform easier!

Please read about these important new features and stay tuned for the release of the new version!

  • Home Bar

    Swipe up on the bottom bar of the newest Via Driver Partner App in order to access the Break Button, End Shift Button, and other features!

  • Connectivity Alert

    You can now always see if your iPad is connected to the cellular service. The Via logo will be blue when successfully connected and red when the iPad loses connection.

  • Sound Alerts

    You’ll notice new and improved sound alerts with more active volumes so you can hear the alerts without taking your eyes off of the road.

  • New Colors & Improved GPS Tracking

    The new Driver Partner App has a new color scheme and improved GPS tracking to better show your location and improve the navigation system.

Home Bar

Tap the arrow on the bottom of your screen to pull up the Home Bar. The Home Bar has:

    • The End Shift Button
    • The Take Break Button
    • iPad Brightness Controls

End Shift Button

Tap the “End Shift” button on the bottom of your app to End Shift and logout:

    • If you have no riders assigned, you will be able to confirm you’d like to end shift immediately
    • If you do have riders assigned, your shift will end after the last dropoff on the route

Brightness Controls

Control the brightness of your iPad using the Brightness Controls on the right side of the Home Bar.

iPad Connection Status Alert

Keep an eye on the “Via” logo in the bottom right of your screen:

      • If it’s blue, it means you’re connected to the cellular service network
      • If it’s red, it means you’re disconnected. If it stays red for more than a few moments, try restarting your iPad as soon as safely possible
