Service Alert: Veteran’s Day Parade

America’s Parade is taking place today in honor of Veteran’s Day. The parade will take place on 5th Avenue between 23rd – 53rd Streets from around 11a – 4:30 pm. Vehicles will not be able to cross 5th Avenue during this time.

The Via System will not route you through these street during Parade hours. However, please be prepared for unexpected traffic challenges as a result of these blocked streets.

Please readjust your routing today as necessary to avoid these blocked streets and coordinate with Via Ops to help passengers find you at busy intersections.
