Using your own iPad

Via Driver Partners are welcome to use their own iPad to run the Via Driver App.

The Via Driver App is only optimized for iOS tablets. This means that the Via Driver App only runs on Apple iPads. It is not configured to run on iPhones or Android devices.

If using your own iPad:

• Ensure that you have an iPad with it’s own cellular data connection. Wifi hotspots do not allow for accurate GPS readings and cannot be used to power a Wifi only iPad.
• Bring your iPad by the Via Office to have the Via Driver App installed. The App must be installed in-house at this time.
