What is a Gross Earnings Guarantee promotion?
A Gross Earnings Guarantee promotion is a minimum amount you are guaranteed to earn (before any deductions for any fees and expenses) within a given time period as long as you meet certain requirements.
If you meet the requirements and would normally earn less than the guaranteed amount, we’ll top up your earnings to reach the Gross Earnings Guarantee promotion amount! Driver Partners can earn a maximum of one Gross Earnings Guarantee promotion per week. If multiple Gross Earnings Guarantee promotions are earned, you will receive the higher amount!
How do I qualify for the Gross Earnings Guarantee promotion?
Complete the minimum driving requirements during the time specified in your promo message and score those additional earnings!
Offer is valid only for the date and time period specified in the message received, and only Driver Partners with an active and valid account on the Via platform who have received that message. Any unauthorised or fraudulent behaviour will automatically result in disqualification from the promotion.
How are the Gross Earnings Guarantee requirements calculated?
Gross Earnings Guarantees are calculated as the difference between your gross earnings and the guaranteed amount. If your gross earnings for the hours you drove would otherwise add up to less than the guarantee, we will top you up to meet the guaranteed amount. If your gross earnings are more than the guarantee, you’ll keep the extra earnings!
How does payment work?
You will receive at least the Gross Earnings Guarantee promotion (before any deductions for any fees and expenses) as long as you meet the requirements of the promotion.
If your total earnings during the promotion period are less than the Gross Earnings Guarantee promotion amount, you will receive a top-up amount. You will see the top-up amount in your Weekly Earnings Report in the week following the promotion.
If you earn the equivalent of the Gross Earnings Guarantee promotion amount or more during the promo period, you will not receive an additional payment and will be compensated for all driving hours as usual.
Terms & Conditions: Offer valid only for the date and time period in email or text message received. If there are multiple offers available to you at a given time, only one of those offers can be redeemed; offers cannot be combined. No partial amounts will be awarded. Only periods of availability to accept trips will be counted towards the hour requirements to qualify for the promotion. Promotion reserved for Driver Partners with an active and valid account on the Via platform to whom the promotion notification was sent. As stated in the promotion language, you must complete at least 90% of your online hours within the driving times you had reserved. Breaks will not be counted as part of your online hours. Breaks are not included in the 90% requirement, meaning that if you sign up to drive for 4 hours and take a 30 minute break, you’d need to drive for 90% of 3.5 hours. Hours will count as reserved unless cancelled more than 24 hours prior to the stated starting time of the driving time. In the event of system abuse or unauthorized behavior, a Driver Partner will automatically and in all respects forfeit his or her eligibility for this promotion. All stated promotional figures are gross of any fees, expenses, and other deductions. This promotion may be revoked or altered at any time at Via’s sole discretion, and these terms are subject to change at Via’s sole discretion.
